Ron Destro has been a professor and theatre program director at various universities, currently teaching at the University of North Florida. He has taught acting, directing, playwriting and Shakespeare at institutions such as Brooklyn College, the College of Staten Island, Shanghai Teachers University, the University of Bridgeport, and Sam Houston State University.  He also created an acting program for the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City.

He was Dean of the School at New York’s National Theatre Workshop of the Handicapped, and at his own Oxford Shakespeare Company.

Ron has also lectured on the Shakespeare Authorship Question at venues such as Harvard University, The Poor School in London, Chautauqua Institution and at the Edinburgh Skeptics Society.

He has coached hundreds of actors over the last 40 years.
